Sarah was appointed as a new deputy press secretary for the White House after Donald Trump won. Previous Sean Spicer was the White House press secretary; then, he was moved to Naval Reservice Duty. Sarah was the main person behind Trump’s words in every press meet, and she supported the whole administration in the White House. She continued to develop her skills while working there because her position improved. 

After Spicer retired, Sarah was appointed as a White House press secretary. After Dee Dee Myers, Sarah was the third woman to hold the press secretary position in the White House. In 2019, Trump said that Sarah would leave her role as press secretary, and she left her job in the White House on June 13, 2019.
