His father, Ray Norris, worked as an Army soldier in World War II; after the war, he worked as a bus driver, mechanic, and truck driver. His mother is Wilma Norris, and she is a homemaker. Chuck has two younger brothers, and their names are Aaron Norris Wieland Norris and. Chuck is the oldest child in the family.

He spent his early life in his birthplace Ryan and Chuck’s parents were divorced when he was 16 years old. Later he moved to Torrance, California, lived with his mother and brothers, and spent his life there.

Chuck and Dianne first met while studying at Torrance high school. Chuck and Dianne first met while studying at Torrance high school. They both married in December 1958; at the time of marriage, Chuck was only 18 years old, and Dianne was only 17. 

They both welcomed their first son in 1962, his name is Mike Norris, and later, they were blessed with a second son in 1964, and they named him Eric Norris. After that, he moved to March Air Force Base in California and worked as an air policeman. After a time, he moved to the United States and worked in Northrop Corporation, and in 1962 he was discharged from the Air force. 

 Then he wanted to open a karate school, and in a short period, he opened his karate school chain in many cities. Many celebrities have become his students, like Priscilla Presley and Steve McQueen. Chuck has won many karate tournaments and won the title more than five times.

Chuck met Bruce Lee and got a chance to act in the film Way of the Dragon as Colt in 1972.
